Finally finished my Vectrex Review...

After a few weeks of editing and frustration (windows movie maker sucks BTW), I finally finished it today. LMK what you think.

That was a really good Vectrex video, it was well edited unlike most youtube videos. Having you describe the games is a lot more interesting than just watching gameplay footage I think; made me want a couple of games I hadn't seen before.

Very nice video! Makes me want to get a Vectrex even more now! I like how you compared the Vectrex controller to the Atari 2600 one in size. You actually got me there!

I know what you mean when you say you dislike Windows movie maker. It always freezes and locks up on me halfway through editing. Runs really slow as well.

Best Vectrex review i have seen on YouTube yet, nice job!

The Vectrex is such a cool system, it was so awesome back-in-the-day.

A couple of years back a guy from Germany emailed me as he'd taken a B/W TV rewound the yoke and built his own deflection board. Had the thing running on like a 12" screen, he sent me some pictures. I don't know if he ever posted the project on-line but it looked great.

Cool review. Spot on too, I have played many of those games and I have to agree with you.

Never seen Spike though, looks kinda cool.

My favorite part? "the front firing speaker sounds pretty good." "Click, buzzzzzzzzz" :)

Very good video. Are you going to do the Audio Mod on yours to get rid of that speaker buzz?

Everyone should have a Vectrex. Now if we only knew somebody that was selling one or two of them........

Good review. Got me to dig mine out.

Nope, I love the buzz (and mines not that loud of a buzz anyway). Just another piece of Vectrex charm IMO. I wouldnt mind building an arcade panel for it, but how to wire it up?
