It took a while but it's finally complete, before and after pictures are attached. Basically I bought a Time Pilot cabinet from a fellow member on klov and it was completely bare, no back door, monitor, bezel glass, just about nothing. All it had was a jamma harness and a switching power supply, so I turned it into a nice jamma cabinet using the Arpicade board. It also finally let me use a brand new 25" Billabs crt monitor I had lying around, I even filmed the unboxing of it. Anyways I posted videos of its restore on my youtube channel, it's four parts in total all linked below. I hope you guys like the results as much as I do, very happy with the outcome :)

Turned out very nice!

I can't watch the videos on this computer and maybe you mentioned it, but why did you decide not to put art on the control panel?

Oh because this machine had been completely gutted at some point and it didn't have the original control panel on it anymore. The one it came with has multiple holes on it and is a slightly different size than the original one, so I wasn't sure how the cpo would fit on it. Plus I figured the joystick/button holes wouldn't match the Time Pilot cpo art so I thought it would look a bit weird, hence I just left it as is.

Looks really nice and clean. I love the t-molding. Mind me asking where you got the joysticks from? Great job!

Joysticks were from Groovy Game Gear, these:

They aren't as good as genuine 8 way leaf switch joysticks and you can feel the notch from the restrictor plate that let's you set them to 4 way or 8 way, but overall they are pretty good. I had to have 4/8 way selectable joysticks on this jamma cabinet because I found 4 way games to be not very playable with an 8 way joystick, so some compromises had to be made. If I was going to play only 8 way games on it then I would put their Dominux 8 leaf switch joysticks, I have those on my Robotron and my horizontal jamma cabinet.
