Okay so one gun isn't recoiling still but.

The year plus search for a replacement marquee is over with. I took my old marquee. Three hours and a shit load of tape and I had something scannable. Did you know large format flatbed scanners aren't the most common thing in the world...pretty much just for paintings. When you tell them you want an arcade marquee scanned they don't even tell you cost they pretty much just pretentiously laugh at you.

Anyways found a place in my own town (surprise) that got it scanned photo shopped out the cracks and reproduced it. The material it is on is the same as translight material for a local strip club. Little flimsy but worked out great. After being told 5 times "should have it done tomorrow, the day after at the latest", they finally finished it. Still have to wait on my GT Complete customer marquee as they didn't resize it but...I am happy with it!

Here are some shots of it. I will probably bondo the lock bar holes and repaint it, but the long long search is finally over with. The hard part is done!

Thank you much guys!

The marquee turned out nice it looks spot on in my book.

I gotta find the pics of when i first bought it:) I think I got lucky finding stuff for it. And finding it in the first place...you don't see too many dedicated Point Blanks around.

Here is what has been done to it.

1) replaced both power supplies
2) game was completely gutted and rewired correctly...twice.
3) HAPP guns replaced with original NAMCO recoil guns
4) Shitty Plexi'd on generic CPO replaced with original CPO
5) Had board repaired.
6) Replaced HAPP hoses for NAMCO gun mounts.
7) Replaced marquee plexi
8) Monitor rejuved, and adjusted
9) Replaced Marquee

This game was the bane of my existance...I replaced everyhting inside of when the guns worked intermittantly, only to find out it was the board afterall. Rewired it so that it worked. Then had it re-done by another person more familiar.

A big thank you to Peter Zimmer, if any of you know him for helping me acquire the guns at a non buttraping price and for the re-wiring, board repair and monitor rejuving.

I have now put 4 times what I paid for it into it...but it was worth every penny. In the year I have owned it it has been played probably 800 times :) and will get played even more, I never get tired of this game...oh and as far as the Twin Galaxies record goes...I've beaten it! :)

And a pic from the side. Side art has some scratches and nicks but overall not too terrible.
