I have to get it restored first. It is too ugly right now. I do plan to try to sneak it into the house though once it is done. I hate cocktails, but everyone else seems to like them. I am going to see if people actually play it. If not, I am going to trade it for an upright.

I got the frames from Michael's, but I wouldn't buy them there again. They are really cheaply made.

Love the Hydro Thunders! Such cool game

I think they can compete with motion cockpits as far as feel goes. The designers really nailed it with the subwoofers under the seats. The force feedback is ridiculous too. I have it set pretty high, and you really have to fight the wheel on some of the harder boats. I thought about setting up a fan and a mister to really make it real, then I remembered that water is bad for games. lol

I really don't think I will ever get bored with Hydro Thunder. There is a lot of replay value there. Driving the hard boats on the hard courses is still a little bit of an adrenaline rush.

I came to the realization this year that my garage arcade/workshop will never work without putting a shed out in the backyard. Lawn tractor, snow blower, power washer, leaf blower, weed whacker, etc. combined with the fact that Mrs. Cartouche is an avid gardener and has all her stuff - it's just too cramped in there.
