Now that I got the stripping down (going to buy a corded drill so that I dont burn out my cordless).

What do you guys recommend for filling 4 bolt holes on the CP?

get a propane torch and some thick high heat solder plug the hole with the solder and then hit it with the propane torch then sand smooth

if its a wood cp just bondo that sucker

Where can I get that?

Any big box, hardware, auto parts, Walmart, etc. store. Look in the section with glues. It is a two part product and extremely sticky - don't get it on your hands or wear some plastic gloves.

I understand that is essentially the same type of epoxy glue that is also sold under the name Might Putty - you may have seen that on TV.

JB Weld

Let it set for day or so before doing any sanding.

This stuff is amazing. I picked some up at Fred Meyer (it was even on sale!) and filled the holes, sanded them with a dremel and it looks great. I know, pics or it didnt happen. I will find the camera and post them.

I used bondo and it worked out great.
