I have a Golden Tee 2005 machine thats missing the dollar bill validator to the left of the coin door. Is there any drop-in piece or easy fix to fill in that gap? Its in its own locked door, so I'm hoping to find something that will bolt in where the DBV was mounted that just covers the opening. Thanks for any help or ideas.

Yeah they had a plate that covers it. I'm sure someone has one, and places like Happ or MEI probably sell them new...

Figure out who made the door. Coin Controls, Happ, etc.

Contact them about getting a missing plate.

LTG :)

The DBV is missing and I don't have it, so I'm not sure I can determine what make it was. I'll check the other places suggested, thanks! :)

Not the DBV, you need who made the door.

Look over the coin door, coin box door, and DBV door.

Mine was labeled Wells Gardner.

See if the maker of the door has the plate. DBV manufacturer's won't.

I used to cut a piece of aluminum with tin snips and cover it with black vinyl then bolt it using the same screws as the DBV. Looks about as good as the piece Happ sells, but without getting raped over a barrel on cost. Total time invested is less than ten minutes.

Take a picture of the door. I think I know which one it is, but put a picture up here. I have extra blank plates to fit the opening.
