I have been looking to purchase some of these fiberglass pens. It seems that they can only be bought one at a time based on my searches. Does anyone have any links to these in bulk?

Billy, contact someone who sells them on ebay and they will sell you multiple items. They prefer to do this since they dont incure ebay fees. Get some refills for them while your at it.
I prefer the ones with the metal tip, the plastic tip ones break up pretty quickly.
If you can score a good deal on 30-40 of them I would go in on it to have some for the store.

Thanks for the link Ken. There are a lot of different ones on that site I have never seen before. Do you use any of those specifically?

Mike the problem with ebay is I can only find them over seas. No one in the states are selling them that I can find on ebay.

Here are some on the mcm site but I am looking for them in bulk There site seems to suggest you get ten for 5.59 am i reading this correct?

I use the Blue Metal Body (with pen clip) # AA0020 supplied with a coarse FybrGlass eraser. They also make the Red Metal Body (with pen clip) #AA0120 with a fine FybrGlass eraser.

The fine and coarse refills fit both of these eraser pens. It's just that the factory prefers you to use the coarse refills in the blue housing and the fine ones in the red housing. I have been using the fine refills in the blue housing for 20 years and it works perfectly. There's really no difference in the housings, just the color is all.

For 99% of game repairs using this eraser unit, like edge connector cleaning and integrated circuit leg cleaning use the FINE eraser. If you need to scrape rust off of a chassis then use the coarse eraser. Get the Red Metal AA0120 unit.

I use the FINE eraser for just about all applications. They do sell refills in both single packs and a packet of 25.

# IA0380 Fine Refill (single pack)

# AA0019 Fine Refill (packet of 25)

These fiberglass pencils are an absolute must when doing board work. It makes things so much easier to clean up with very little effort. The only drawback is I tend to get fiberglass splinters in my hands alot.

Thanks for the link Ken, I always get mine from the bulk tool guys at car shows (I'm a car nut also) and the Eastwood company sells them also, sorry don't have a link for them at the moment. I'm new to the Video repair side of things (been fixing and playing pinball mostly) but just picked up a complete but non working Asteroids coctail and now the Video bug has hit me! Riptor your sig shows your close to me, if you live in Lenordtown. I live in Owing just below Dunkirk. I see you mention a store, is it someplace you sell parts from for repairing the games? If so then please send me some info, I would rather support the local hobby and save on postage at the same time! Sorry to be long winded, this is my first post here, but on the orginal subject these pens are the only way to go when cleaning traces and pads on circuit boards! Auto body supply houses may also sell then in bulk since they are used to clean rust and other crud out of rock chips and etc. in car fenders before touchup. I will post a link if I can find one later.

Good post Sharkey! I checked with eastwood http://www.eastwood.com/fiberglass-rust-brush.html thats all I can find.

I will call Mattos and Car Quest on Monday they handle all the auto body stuff around Waldorf. Maybe I can get a decent discount plus the drivers deliver to my front door...

Welcome to klov!

Yep those look like the ones I have been using, once you have the handle, all you need to buy are the refills, they load and work like a mechanical pencil, just turn the end and it feeds more fibers out. Thanks for the welcome, I am sure I will be picking your guys brains for info as I work on the Astoriods!
