That's right folks, everyone who reads this post will get a clue, free of charge.

Hello KLOV brethren, and welcome to today's rant.

1) If you post something for sale and find yourself bumping it every day with no responses - THERE'S A REASON... Do I really have to spell it out for you?

2) Adhere to the bumping rules : No more than once per 24 hours, and no more than 3 total bumps with no responses. If your thread idles along and noone bought your stuff after 3 "BUMP" posts, you must wait ONE WEEK to rebump. It's a rule - go read it.

3) "Search." - It exists. Therefore bumping the same 5 pcb's you've been trying to offload for months is useless. If someone wants it, they will search and find. Years old threads get bumped up by newbs every day.

4) Multiposting. - "No user should post more than two new threads in each of the the For Sale and Wanted forums in any given 24 hours period." (Direct rule quote.) This means YOU! If you have 14 different threads of crap for sale, you are doing it wrong. Try compiling it all into one conglomerated post, easier to manage and easier on all our eyes.

I think I speak for everyone here when I say that users who abuse the above rules are completely ignored by us legitimate buyers. If you have 10 threads of crap and 100 bumps, I'm not buying anything from you. You're either; A) Stupid, B) On Crack, or both. Noone else is taking a shot on you, why would I?

Thanks for taking the time to learn how not to be a total dipsh*t. I promise you it will pay dividends in the end.

While I agree with points one, two, and four I almost never do a search for boards I am looking for. I "shop" here in the for sale section and often buy things that I want but am not actively seeking. If there is something that I am actively seeking I will post it in the Wanted forum.

I am getting sick of seeing 14 posts or more in one day from one seller as well. one thread please

edit: and that's not to say I have a have a problem with any particular seller. I would like to see it streamlined.

Yeah, what he said!
 ...but what about this rule?
EXTRANEOUS DISCUSSION: Trading Post forums are for buying, selling, and trading only. Please post unrelated discussions in the proper sections.

Item offered for sale? - The clue.
Heck, technically I am trading it for the temporary use of your eyeballs and preferably some synapse activity. Clearly it worked since at least you read the rules ;)

Unrelated discussion? - Negative.

Believe me, putting this in "General" or "...anything" crossed my mind, but it would be a fruitless effort. And so the perfect freebie was born. Love the stimuli, human, keep it coming!

i never do a search either. results usually turn up old posts where the item is long gone.

Other than seeing the post return to the top, how do you know it was "bumped". If i see an item for sale that i have no interest in, i don't read it. If i already saw it once and saw nothing of interest, again, i don't read it. Other than a bumping post knocking newer ones lower to the list...it doesn't bother me. For all i know the items for sale are being discussed. I's not hard to remember what i already saw and what is new.

i do agree with #4 100% though.

You don't speak for me, BallyTableWhiz. I'm sure you're a nice guy but lay off the message board Nazi stuff for a while. Calling people dipshits and stupid isn't helping you either, why don't you try to be a little more respectful.

HAHAHA...says the man with 26,000+ posts! :D

You picked up on that, eh?

;)

Bottom line... ask to become a moderator or chill out. Your job isn't to "remind" people of the rules... nor is it to disparage people for not following them exactly... it just makes you look sort of douchey...

Why do people get a hair up their ass when someone posts something or bumps something that isn't agreeable with them? Just don't read it... or if you do by accident... WHOA!!! That wasted a whole second or two of your life.

Pop open a brewski and take life as it comes... it's a lot less aggravating that way.

Peace!

I think it is inconsiderate to the rest of the folks who actually do "play by the rules".
Every bump to the top is one bump closer to the bottom for the other sellers.
