Picked up a Ferrari F355 Challenge last Monday. 2 of the 3 CRT's were missing the chassis. After a little research, decided to go the LCD route, rather than trying to track down the monitors. Here's the before and after.

Thanks Fred! Yep, definitely come out. Its a blast to play. Unfortunately, one of my Star Wars Trilogy machine monitors just freaking quit! Blah. Don't feel like yanking another crt out for awhile, after the F355.
I had all the machines running for a couple hrs. Went back out and noticed it was playing but monitor is blank?

Looking great!!! Did you use happ lcds or just some storebought ones? How did it adapt, or were these vga monitors to begin with?

I have always been a sucker for the big games like that that would never fit in my arcade, but f355 is one of those games that id cut a hole in my floor to get it down there.. One of my alltime grails i want so bad but know i probably never will get.

Just ran to best buy and purchased 3 - 26 inch LCD Tv's. After measuring 20 times, i decided on 26 inch for best fitment. I didn't want to cut any thing on the machine etc. I tried to fit 32's in it. But they were just to big. These fit perfect and are very affordable. I called around, and I was looking at over a grand to replace with crt monitors. It was merely plug and play. The hardest part was tearing it down, and putting it all back together.
Only thing left to do, is figure out how to power off one cord.lol
