I know more about the Arkanoid series than any other other game, because of all the time I spend setting up the world record holder's(Zack Hample) cabinet with all three.(Arkanoid Returns is of course a horizontal game).

I put a JAMMA wiring harness inside his cabinet(which was formerly Q*bert in another life), so Arkanoid Revenge of Doh plugs right in. But Arkanoid and Tournament Arkanoid use identical adaptors.

I to have a jamma mini that I have the three Arks in with an adapter. Switch them when I get board of one. (was inspired by the youtube vid of Zack Hample beating ark).
Would also be cool to build a cab that could house the final "Arkanoid returns" horizontal with dual Spinners. Would have to have a spinning monitor. I have a cab with the dual spinners on it for head to head play. Still cant draw at parties like the old school Ark tho.
