February & March - Last Call - Possible Part Outs and/or Dumped Cabinets.

Getting ready to smash an original dedicated cabinet you don't have space for? Why not offer it up for free if you can't sell it? It might be a tad more hassle then burning or dumping, but it could be of use to another collector and might actually be restored.

Thinking of parting out a machine worth more dead than alive? Please let us know that, and ask a price in between. Parting out a game is work, and it is nice to help some one else save a game if they can.

* Don't post the for sale thread here. Create a thread if you haven't already and link to it from here.

* Most importantly, after posting in this thread, please give potential saviors one at least 2 weeks (if not longer) to propose an adoption before continuing with the part out.

* Edit your message in this thread and add a comment if the game is no longer available.

* Participation in this thread is currenly mandatory. Previously it was voluntary, but highly encouraged, and now we are running a test as a mandatory thread. Mandatory just means post to it 2 weeks before you post a parting out (and selling the parts) thread.

* Even if a machine isn't working or complete, please offer it up before parting it out.

* If you see another thread about a threatened part-out, and it isn't linked here, you can post it here even if you aren't the original poster of the other thread.

* Posts should be limited to directly to the topic at hand. I'm not looking for any political statements, arcade terrorism, or civil liberty speeches. If you can't play nice in this thread, don't post in it.

Oct 2011 - Jan 2012 Thread: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=204436

I've created a new thread a few days early so its here and waiting. It took way too long to get a 'Jan' thread so I thought I'd be ahead of the game this coming month.

Midway Wild Kingdom

Picked his up a year or so ago, but i'm getting nowhere so I'll sell it off or part it out. It has no coin door, no gun or gun mount, and no backglass. It does have all the boards, but it's also missing a few of the targets. Ill sell it for $100 if anyone wants to try to save it, otherwise, in two weeks, I'll toss the cab and sell the parts

Uh, what IS it? You didn't say what game it is.

Virtua Fighter cab here: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?p=1969254

It's free now if anyone wants it. I will pull the harness out and and the Dead or Alive board that came with it and sell that separately. The monitor is gone so it's just the cabinet, power supply, populated control panel, etc. now. Nice enough condition. It will go to the dump if someone doesn't haul it away.

If you want the board and harness I'll include that for cheap too if you take the whole thing away.

I have a VF already and I actually need to create room in the garage. Good luck. Speaking of, except for the Galaga and Z-Back, this stuff is still available:

Someone rescue this Chase H.Q. I could really use the monitor in it, but it feels very counter productive for me to have to part this one out just because of a few small drill holes and a paint job. Also, found the marquee to it if that sweetens things. Come with a hand truck and 50 bucks before I give in and start pulling the monitor out.

I've got a Q*bert cab with bezel, and a Xenophobe cab that need to go to a good home before the wife makes me roadside them. Both are in pretty sound shape, with moderate to moderate-heavy water damage around the the bottom edges and on some of the back edges. Nothing a little Wood Hardener and Bondo wouldn't fix right up. I have to throw them out, as they're both beautiful cabs (especially the Xeno...its almost a work of art).

Send me a PM if interested, I'm in North Florida, right off I-10 in Crestview. Anyone passing along I-10 is welcome to come pick up one of both.

Did I mention they're both FREE? :p

Planning on parting out my Baby Pac-man soon. I don't really consider it a part out because it was basically stripped when I got it, and I assembled all of the pieces to put it back together again.

You can check my VAPS for the info on it. It's a really nice cabinet structurally that I'm hoping someone can use.

Hopefully someone will grab this . . . I'm on the wrong coast :004_smad:

I have a Sega Jurassic Park Lost World Deluxe cabinet. The guns and pcb are missing, and the monitor wont come on, but the cab itself is in pretty good shape. This guy is taking up alot of space in my garage, so I am offering it up for free on here. Drop me a line if your interested!
