I have owned a lot of g08's never seen one catch fire, nor have i heard of anyone having their 'g08' catch on fire. i have read on the net that a few caught fire back in the day but that doesnt mean that everyone out there will burn.

Well my favorite X/Y game is my Star Trek with Vector Labs multi SEGA so I voted for Star Trek. I have 3 Star Treks and so far I have never had one catch on fire and only have had a few cold solder joints to fix. The only game I ever had catch on fire was my Dragons Lair which the power supply went up in flames the first time I powered it up so luckily I was looking right at it when I flicked the switch.

my favorite

I went for Star Castle, i remember pumping a ton of quarters in it at the american legion. that and Black Knight Pinball. I also really like Asteroids and tempest. Havent played many of the others.

Fav X-Y games

Red Baron.....remember playing it for the first time at Cedar Point. That sit-down version was awesome....

My next is a tie...because i love them both Star Castle(1980) and Battlezone(1981). Happy I own them both.

Battlezone, Quantum, Rip Off, Eliminator.

My favorite shot in BZ is shooting the enemy tank as it comes from behind an object and driving away before the shell impacts the enemy.

I'm glad not everyone likes the same games.

I was about to go with Gravitar, but after you play for a while, you want to give it a break. It is easy to get to a point where it's difficult to pass a certain stage.

Then I thought about Tempest. Hands down.

I picked Black Widow, and it looks like it doesn't get a lot of love.

If the poll was which of my games has had the most miserable failure rate, after countless repairs, rebuilds, bulletproof, etc, it would be Tempest by a mile!!

Tempest, Star Wars, and Asteroids Deluxe.

I don't know if I've ever met an Atari XY that I didn't like, but Battlezone got my vote.

The PCB in my cabaret went south a few weeks ago, and after a little poking and prodding, I decided this one was beyond my current repair skill level so I sent it to an expert. The absence from my lineup has been palpable and dramatic. Not having it around has actually sucked some of the fun out of the rest of the games.

It's definitely an anchor of my collection!

Looks like I forgot a few key titles in my X/Y poll. Here is my 2nd attempt.

I think I got most of the X/Y games that were ever made on the list. Feel free to reply with other titles that I may have missed or if you have more than one favorite.

There were 13 Atari vectors and you list 12. How could you not list Quantum?

I had to vote for Star Wars but it's tied with Battlezone and Tempest. Though I suck balls at Tempest.
