I know this has probably been asked about a million times, but what is everybody's favorite playfield wax. I have some Millwax that I bout when I bought the MataHari, but I remember soe people talking about carnuba car wax.

So spill it peeps, let's have some brands and pics if possible.

I have a rubber kit coming for the RBION and I want to make it shine.

Thanks.

I use the Meguiars and you can easily find it at WalMart. It was highly recommended.

The problem with Millwax is it's a cleaner and wax. And comob product usually don't do both things good.

For your RBIO, Novus 2 to clean, and Meguiar's ( 2 coats ) to wax.

LTG :)

I use the Turtle wax F21 spray. Makes the playfield SHINE and ball play fast. Sometimes too fast, but oh well lol :)

Johnson's wax.

God I f'ing hate this sh....

I used it exactly once after I bought it. Thank christ the wife was out of town that week, because it took days for my house to not smell like some araonist brought the gasoline and forgot the matches. Never again.

+1 - I use this stuff.

Any good carnuba wax will do just fine regardless of who makes it. Don't use anything petroleum based (most, if not all cleaner waxes).

You're joking about the smell right? I'm going to look at my can when I get home tonight but I swear to christ it smells like gasoline.

No, I really like it. Not astringent or petroleum smelling (to me at least). Smells kind of fruity...I'm also a little weird so...who knows

I like Wildcat #125(the old formula that smells like diesel). The new stuff is watery and doesn't work, but since you can't get the old formula at any supplier now, I'd suggest Millwax as a cleaner.

Millwax is basically novus #2 with a solvent to speed up cleaning, but doesn't actually contain wax! I would not wax any 90's-newer cleared playfields since it just causes dirt to build up quicker. Any older lacquer playfields should be waxed, however, any wax you'd put on your car is fine for your playfield.

It only took 17 threads to get the ago old petroleum cleaner vs. Novus!!!
