I'll use Kung Fu Master, Yie Ar Kung Fu and Karate Champ as examples...

For me I love Kung Fu Master so many good memories playing this at a Perry Drugs. I do like Yie Ar Kung but damn that Blues guy always gave me fits. Finally Karate Champ...Could never really get into this...Definitely like it better 2 player and how can anyone forget about that damn bull:mad:

What's your favorite???

Karate Champ.

One summer, I spent two weeks on Cape Cod (Eastham) playing this at a convenience store within walking distance from the house my family was staying in. I'd walk there in the morning and play for almost an hour on one quarter, then walk back to the beach.

Ive never played Karate Champ...

Im a KFM fan, myself. Followed by YAKF, and then of course the SF series. Shaolins Road (or whatever its called) is awesome, too.

Karate Champ. If any of the others provided a competitive play option then they might stand a chance but they don't.

If I had to go with a side scroll fighter like Kung Fu Master or Yie are Kung Fu then I would have to place my vote for Kicker...

I liked Kung Fu on the NES myself. I wish there would have been an arcade game based on Karate Kid. I would have picked Johnny and beat Laruso's ass whenever I had the chance. Whiny little Pussy. He was the Chachi of the mid 80's.

Side scrolling Karate? Kicker for sure.

I'd be shocked to shit if anyone else every played this.

Don't hate the playa...

Did you really never play Karate Champ? As many have said, it was the "Street Fighter" of its time.

Yeah, Ive never played it. Ive wanted to ever since I saw it in Bloodsport...

Karate Champ. Jump over, then back kick... I played the hell out of that game one summer.
