Might be a stupid question but is there a preferred microswitch that everyone likes for joysticks?

The ones that aren't microswitches, but instead are leaf switches.

I'll rip the OEM microswitch joystick out of my prototype Pepper II and replace it with a leaf switch joystick. Thanks for your input. :)

For joysticks (depending on kind of feel required for the game), I prefer Paradise's 20g stick switches with a really strong spring. It is the closest feel I have gotten to a leaf stick, like a strong grommet and loose switches. With a back door on the click is not bad at all. In JLWs, it's the closest I've gotten to a Pac or Wico stick. I've tried an endless amount of switches, springs, and ball tops (I recommend 30mm or 1.5").

Edit: I'm aware the link says LS-32 and Zippyy, however most switches are standard in joysticks.

Most people seem to prefer Cherry microswitches.

Definitely cherry switches if you want micros. I belong to the minority around here because I prefer micro switches to leafs, except I would rather have the Sanwa non-clicking micro switch push buttons over anything else, especially for fighters.
