Spent a good chunk of the day after Thanksgiving cleaning up…which earned Sara's permission to host a short notice arcade party.

Was surprised to learn one visitor works at Sega…but had never heard of Afterburner Deluxe, so made sure she tried what may be the pinnacle of Sega's arcade machines.

My buddy
@dewmanSNK tried out the "new" 44 year old game. It was his first time ever playing.

With Scramble next to Berzerk, Moon Patrol was relocated across the aisle where Defender had been.

Leaving the Williams row to just these. HUO Sinistar, which has been reliable all these years, has been intermittently locking up, requiring the game to be turned off then on again. Will have to investigate the cause.

Snapped this photo while kneeling…imagine this is what it's like for little kids when they visit,

At some point, Crazy Climber will be moved so a Donkey Kong can complete this mini Nintendo row.

When that happens, Mr. Do's Castle will join Defender in storage.

(10) people made it out on short notice. The smaller group was nice as I was definitely feeling my age after all that went into hosting Thanksgiving.
There are certain games that always get played regardless of the crowd size, Spy Hunter being one of them. In addition to being front and center as one enters the garcade, I like to think the added subtle effect of the black light reactive control panel also helps draw people to it
