So the Dell Optiplex in my F&F Drift machine won't recognize either video card I have plugged into the PCI-E port. When I look at BIOS settings, they just don't register. I don't know if the cards are bad, or if the slot is bad.

Could I consider a video card through another slot? Should I try a third card and see if I get lucky?

I'm looking for advice before I try and replace the entire PC.

I do get video from the onboard video port, which is how I'm able to see in the bios that nothing else is registering.

I've had the Dell PCs lose video function on the add in card.
Remove the card and reinstall the software. On board video works fine. You may have to adjust the video memory in BIOS to add more video RAM.

I tried this, but after installing the software there was still some GeForce error I think.
