So I am getting a Fast and Furious Arcade machine from 2004, it's the original version with the old computer. The monitor is dead on it and plays blind, I was wondering if I can use a WG D9200 in it, the game originally uses a D9400 / Makvision monitor which are flat front crts, can I use a D9200 in it? I ask this because I hear people say that they have a D9200 in theirs, but I was able to bring home the computer tower early and test to see if it displays, it does not display on my D9200 as it gives me an "Out of range" error, but it will display on a standard computer monitor, the game does boot if in the cabinet as we tested it before I took the PC home. Does the computer require something to display on a d9200 or are others just confusing it for the d9400? Am I gonna have to repair the D9400 to get it working?

Wells D9200 should be fine. It's a tri sync monitor. You have to know what resolution the PC is outputting. Guessing it is set to VGA since it displays on the LCD monitor fine. Some of the tri resolution monitors, you need to move wire harnesses on the neck board from CGA/EGA to VGA.

Also, I think some d9200 could do 800x600 and some could only go to 640x480. That could potentially be an issue.

Open the OSD menu on the dell monitor to see which resolution it's displaying. It might also tell you if you turn it off and back on or pick a "smart adjust" option in the menu.

Unfortunately I could not mount my d9200 in it, the machine is missing the original monitor mounts so I'm screwed basically, I have to... convert it to an lcd... also it had the wrong plug so I couldn't even plug it in for power

Yeah, seems like insurmountable problems that can't be overcome. Seriously though, it's not a game many people would care too much about having an LCD vs CRT.

Yeah, it's no Pac-Man with an LCD or Street Fighter with an LCD

I just got the original mounts back and have successfully mounted the monitor in, but the monitor plug is not the right one.
