Farewell Donkey Kong, Wizard of Wor and some cash...and hello to my first Williams:

BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA!

The game works 100%, and except for some faded out text (especially on the right side), this machine is in super nice condition.

This is THE game I've been pining for since I really got into pins, and I'm very happy to have it in my collection. (It looks right at home alongside Freddy and Frankenstein.)

Many thanks to Scott (aka "GA gamer") for the hookup!

Congrats on the pickup, I'm loving mine as well, getting all 3 multiballs going and hitting jackpots is very rewarding. The sound is amazing as well, it even has a feature that at certain times, like multiball, the sound automatically gets louder than normal.

I changed mine to black flippers with red rubbers, looks much better than yellow. It's supposed to have lightning flippers, but I don't really care, the game is hard enough even with normal flippers :p

I'm also going to change some of the GI bulbs to colored ones, ie blue under the slings...haven't got around to it yet though :)

what ...no tales from the crypt?

Hehe. That one's definitely on my short list. I'd also like to add either, or both, of the Elvira pins...although, with Scared Stiff being consistently as overpriced as it is, I doubt I'd ever pony up that kind of cash for one.

This might change down the road, but as of this writing, I'm not having any issues with the lightning flippers; I'm really digging the challenge of the machine as it is.

You don't find that the longer flips make it too easy?

So far, I've been somewhat anti-LED, but from what I've seen, the colored GI bulbs look pretty darn good on this machine. I might have to give it a try myself.

Cool! I love that game. Makes me wish mine wasn't buried in storage.

Looks like you're building quite a collection.

Ack! Get it out of storage, man. Pronto! ;)

And thanks! I certainly LOVE my pin collection.

Very nice, well if that de simpsons pin starts gettin in ur way just get ahold of me heeheh

Dracula too easy? haha...doubt that will happen, I have actually found that having the longer flippers hasn't really increased my scores noticeably. My 2 highest scores were both with lightning flippers. The extra 1/8" is hardly noticeable IMO. The black/red combo looks 100 times better as well.

I'm pretty anti-LED as well, I did convert all the backbox 555 and backbox 906 to LED however. I did the same on my Fishtales. I also added 3 colored LED's in the backbox of BSD. A green one in the middle of the sky, a red one for the moon, and a blue one where it says Williams in the upper left...

It's still really tough but I'm with you. I like the lightning flippers. They just look cooler. I've actually considered putting them in Stern Lightning.

I would go with LEDs in some of the inserts and colored incandescent lamps in other places where you want a change. Especially GI. Just my $.02.

That's what happens when you have too many projects. Stuff has to sit and wait. It's okay though. I know I will enjoy restoring it when I actually get to it. I just got a DE Star Wars that's not a project for a change so that will keep me entertained for a while.

Ya know, while I'm still quite fond of it, that game tends to be the last one I ever think about firing up. I mean, the game is really good and I've been a big Simpsons fan seemingly forever, but for whatever reason, it gets the least amount of love from me.

It's certainly the only machine I can see trading off sometime in the future. *shrugs*

That's a cool feature, but somewhat poorly executed, as the difference in volume is just too great. I had to turn it off, 'cause every time I got a ballsave or something, the amped up volume had me thinking "Holy shit, that's too freakin' loud!" (The family would mention it, too.)

When I turned the volume down to compensate, then the normal volume was too quiet. The best solution was to just turn the feature off.
