Hi there! Does anyone know anyplace or anyone who still has a "merchandiser" game called Fantasy Island by Crompton? I attached an image of a flyer for the game.

I've been trying to track down music from a game that I heard at an amusement park in the 90s. I wasn't 100% sure what the game is, but a few people have suggested based on my description of the music that the game is called Fantasy Island.

The song was a kind of bendy electronic tune. I recorded an homage to that tune, recently: http://grindingtapes.org/temp/5ths.mp3. The melody is not accurate, since I'm working off of memories from 15 years ago, but the sound might jog someone's memory if they've heard the original tune.

Finding this game would be amazing! I'm ultimately trying to get a recording of the music from the game. I would happily pay if anyone has or is able to get a recording of it for me!

Thanks for reading and any help you can offer!

Holy crap, I remember that game. I also remember the music. I also remember hating the music, LOL. Maybe that is because I heard it over and over and over and OVER in the arcade.......GAAAA!

Your MP3 is not what I remember, but I do remember it being very electronic. It was turned up really loud too, maybe that's why I disliked it so.

Good luck in your quest!

Do I see the reflection of umbrella lights in the glass dome? Is that poor photography or just life before photoshop.

Chris! I'm glad someone else remembers this game! I never really saw it, but the music was so loud that I'd always hear it blasting from outside the arcade.

How would you describe the music you remember? Anything that can help confirm if I have the right game will help me in my search!

Thanks for the lead, SpartyMAC! I called them up and they suggested I send Marvin an email directly, so I just went ahead and sent that out

Oh man, ummmm. I have no idea how to explain it. I will see if I can find it online anywhere :)

Did Marvin ever get back to you? It's been driving me crazy to hear what this thing sounds like!
