I like how Tron was a budget title tied with Pengo for the cheapest new game available, cheaper than a used Frogger even.

How times have changed.

That one is mine. It was in the poker folder. I have folders for Gorf and Tempest for you, they also have cool things in them. I don't remember if there was a Bosconian folder or not.

Plus, it isn't a "decorative" sort of flyer, much more a hand typed/photocopied/Commodore 64 job on Bally Midwest letterhead.

Here it is, they photographed better than I thought, there was a 3rd page about vending, but it didn't have a single price on it and thus was worthless (basically just said they were having a fall vending sale and listed some brands).

Sweet, what's the condition of my flyer ;)? I'll have to put that up somewhere as decoration.

Some of those prices are surprising. Why was Tron so cheap? It's not like it was an unpopular game. Also, I thought most of the new games sold for about $1995 (based on other price lists I've seen). Was this some kind of clearance sale?

Fall 1983, the crash was underway.

I have an early 90s price flyer somewhere too. Need to find that. It has quite a lot of machines that are fairly high dollar today listed in their $195 (6 for $1000) "Filler" section.

Centipede $1195
Millipede $2295
Surprised they were still asking that much for a used Centipede considering Millipede would have just been released.
Battlezone $195
Omega Race $395
Wish I wasn't 14 years old at the time, I would have been buying these games day in & out at that price.

Remember to double those prices for inflation adjustment to get a better idea of how much money we were really talking.

These were close-out prices and not retail.
Close-outs were a BIG deal back in the day and I took advantage of a few when I was operating.

Yeah, neat to see. Tron was probably closeout b/c the movie was a year old at that point and the magic was waning.
