What do you think? Monitor has some slight screen burn and would need a cap kit. Cab is in decent shape - some scraping here n there. Probably would want to have a new glass made for it.

Oh and that's another question - would most glass places be able to cut the perfect shape like maybe if I took the old one to them, and about how much would that run me? Thanks!

personally I don't think most cocktail games are that desirable. I'd say $100-150 tops. As for the glass I know semi locally there are places that can make that size and shape glass. Think the cost was $65 or $75.

Thanks! Yeah this dude said he'd "take" $350. Thought that was pretty high. I'm not a big fan of the cocktails, either - but would like to have 1 classic around just for the novelty of it.

You can buy the glass from one of the arcade resellers for like $50, but shipping adds up really quick.

p1899m's estimate sits well with me.

BTW, where are you located? Makes a huge difference. If they are not plentiful, they will go up a lot more in desirability factor...

Well, as my nickname would indicate, I'm a big fan of cocktail arcade games and I'll take all the $150 Galaxians/Galagas/Pacmans avaiable here in the NW. I just don't see them going for anywhere near that figure. It may well be a local thing, but a nice Midway cocktail here in the Seattle area seems to start at $500ish.

And yes I am looking for more cocktails ;)

It's definitely a regional thing although I will say condition is key. A very nice galaga, pac or ms pac would still command good money where I'm at but it's not uncommon for average condition cocktails to sell from $50-100. Not sure even a mint galaxian would get more than $400 where I'm at. Most people in my area that want cocktails are not collectors and are happy with a 60 in 1 and just think a cocktail is cooler than an upright because it looks like a table and they can sit a drink on it while playing. Oh any they think it takes less space than an upright because it's short. They never think that with a chair on each side it takes up a larger footprint than an upright would.

Is this in Mississippi by chance?

I was interested in a galaxian which he was asking 400
I did some research and decided $275 max for players quality
He claims he paid $375; and would take 350

I told him I understood his attachment to his game and my budget limit was 250 and offer him luck in selling his machine

Its not worth more than that to me

He paid $375, ask him if you get the $200 worth of quarters that are in the machine. Oh wait, he didn't pay to play it at all. Not sure with the fascination with 'breaking even or making a profit' on every sale for some guys. I sell plenty of games for less than I paid for them.

I have about $400 a piece in the "the twins"......
I think I paid about $300 a piece, but had to do some cosmetic work, and rebuilt the monitors on them.....
Galaxian cocktails aren't worth a TON, but they are RARE in these parts......
I'd by a decent $300 Galaxian CT ALL DAY LONG!!!!
That being said I'm a HUGE Galaxian/Midway cocktail fan in general.
I had 3 Galaxian CTs at my wedding reception!!
Mine 2, and one of my brothers.....it was AWESOME it kept the kids busy all night.......
