FREE pickup in San Diego.

Original Sega Pulsar cocktail, broken monitor with physical damage to the chassis. Very clean, working rebuilt board.

Super clean pretty much untouched. I've never seen a cocktail Pulsar and it seems nobody on the forums has either - weird.

The game boards were rebuilt and are working.

I don't know if the sound/amplifier works, there's a really weird board on the right of the second picture with multiple pots on it.

I'd be all over it if I was within driving distance. I don't even think the cocktail version is dumped.

The cocktail version has a space theme and different sounds.

Correct, the guy who repaired the board was trying to get it dumped so he could send it to the MAME project. I didn't know that there were differences in the game though, to be honest I haven't even got to play this machine since the monitor was down for so long. When I did get it halfway fixed it wouldn't focus properly (which is why I sent it out) so I still haven't played this yet.

Gotcha. Pulsar is a good time. I wonder if there are any mods on the soundboards that make the sounds of this machine unique.

Updating to FREE!

Sharp Image Repair packed the chassis so poorly on return that the PCB got a chunk snapped off the corner. I'll include in with the burn free tube, I'm just over this thing at this point. My loss your gain.

I have a 14" Toei monitor I'd be willing to ship to the new owner in the event he wishes to restore the cabinet.
