I am wondering if anyone else has seen leveling shims on the monitor shelves in Nintendo cabs before? I have seen them on the right side under the front corner of the monitor frame in my Mario Bros and in a converted Popeye I had. (both horizontal games obviously). They are like small 2.5 x 3.5" thin pieces of plywood stapled to the monitor shelf. Was this a factory thing done at QC to precisely level the monitor, following final inspection, or were they added later? Seems like an archaic way to do it, so I am just curious if it was common.
