I have finally been authorized to sell these, with the condition that it has to be the ebay route. all at no reserve, some are worth much more than others. I have kept one set for myself that i will be framing and hanging up. Being one of a kind is a neat conversation piece to have in the collection, even if my collection has grown into more pins than vids

We have been waiting for you to list these. I will be in on all the pac stuff. Hopefully we can get these and have Rich print them.

Didnt see this before i posted on the other thread...That sucks you have to go though e-fail

Yeah, we wanted to buy them outright but he is selling them for someone else....not sure on the exact details. It all boils down to value of the items. I was hoping the jrpac was the dedicated marquee since there are plenty of conversion marquees out there but dedicated ones are pretty rare.

I can sell them to you outright, thats not a problem, just give me 5000.00 and they are yours.

But i think that you will get a much better deal on ebay with them. I have these in my house right now, and i had to do alot of things and spend lots of time just to get them. There is a silent partner that has say in the price. We had offers on some pieces but the silent part wasnt sure if that was fair value, so he decided that ebay is what would give the fair value of them

Let me ask this question. How much do you think a specific piece is worth? Myself and a few others have tried to figure that out for some time. Since these are one of a kind, it is hard to determine that value. To have the whole film set for a zwackery cpo, wow, now lets find the buyer. In my opinion, it would have to be a williams fanatic. I know that no-one on the group would be that interested, its not a piece that many guys like rich would take on since the sales would be so minimal of the final product. so this piece has more value for art, then usefulness.

so anyway i try to figure it out, it is hard to determine its value to sell it outright, hence the reason that myself and the silent partner have decided that this is the best route

WOW!! What set did you keep for yourself?

i kept some for a game that is actually less disireable than most of what was listed. But it happens to be my personal favorite game, so the value of it is worth alot more to me than some of the more popular titles

5,000 for all? or just certain pieces. As great as it is that these have surfaced, the tragedy will be when pieces are scattered all over the place owned by many people. Worst will be the ones bought buy the random guy who just wants something cool to hang on his wall. Just my 2cents but these really should go to one person. A keeper of the art so to speak. Like how Scott Evans has all the Atari art.

After looking them over, the few (pac stuff) that I am interested in are really only good as collectors pieces. Some of these are not complete sets and others are for less desirable cabinet configs like cabaret and conversions. I still plan on bidding on a couple of the items but im not going to spend much on them. I really wish the pacland cpo was the dedicated version, would have been nice to see those reproduced.
So where's the sideart films? I know someone has the pacland and proffessor pac sideart flims somewhere out there.

Hey Troy, is the burgertime marquee films complete? I am planning on bidding on those. Yes, i have a competent silk screener, so i will be making good use of these!

Just to add my 25 cents here.....
I was there and spend HOURS with Troy going through these. These films are top notch, and they had them all rolled and fairly organized well. At the time I was there with him (picking up my Journey bezel), there were literately thousands of them (mind you, some were pinball I believe as well. we only looked at the Vids stuff). The guy he was talking to was still unsure if he was going to be able to obtain all or even any of these, or if the other "party" was taking them back to Australia with all the other pinball stuff that was acquired. Its cool to see they stayed here and hopefully will be in the hands of someone who can repop some of this.
Im glad to see that Troys persistence on getting making these available has paid off. With or without the condition its hopefull to see some more art that may be availible soon from the original films!!
This was the part of my story from my trip to get my Journey bezel that I couldnt tell. Phew!! Glad thats off my chest lol!! For me it was really cool to see all that history - Im glad I was invited to go.

it is a shame that there wernt more pieces or complete sets
and the remaninng seem they would only hold a vaule to an idiviual that may have a
particualr fav such as mtz keeping his.

Ill be bidding on the wacko :D

If anyone would like to know costs of screening any of these pieces feel free to pm

The rest sadly are either in a landfill roting or in Austraila (same thing)
: (

Looking at some of the pics hard to see how complete each set piece is
there should be 1 film per color and should be marked for example 1 of 6, 2 of 6, etc.
are they missing any films for any of the pieces?

I know Gene has a boatload of Williams artwork -- I can remember the CPR guys posting pics of some of it when they were there getting the films for Centuar -- and it sounded to me like it was in with all of the stuff Gene had and is being sent off to Wayno as part of the agreement he had with Williams...??.

Just my thoughts on this, it doesn't look like most of it is good for reproing, even on the downlo because they aren't complete sets = USELESS

They would be fantastic to use as art, and are worth a pretty penny for that purpose but I can't see any of these being used to make reproduction stuff.

Also i'm skeptical that these are the only copies of each.

Absolutly, I mean especially on ones like mspac. I doubt the entire run on mspacs were done with one set of films. Who knows for sure but either way its a good chance they could be the last ones still around.
Some of them are complete but like I said before they are not so desirable ones.

I can say from my experience these are the onlys and I can tell from the pics they are orginals the rubylith pieces that are included and the inks fills on the blacks are definatly orginals. Films were/are expensive to generate and theres no need for multiple sets.
the were used in most cases once when the games were made
the only expection there would be art revisions where new films would be made to correct problems or changes
