FA / FS: Absolutely Immaculate Dragons Lair w/ NOS Laserdisc Player

Hi All,

I've decided to sell my prized Dragon's Lair to make room in my basement.

Auction URL:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120737038028

Auction ID: 120737038028

This game has been in my personal collection for the past five years, and I am needing more space. I had bought this game directly from the person who owned it in his home since 1984. I am a VERY picky collector, and everything about this game is top-notch:

- I purchased and installed a vintage New Old Stock (NOS) Pioneer LD-V1000 laser disc player a few years ago

- The side art, control panel overlay and marquee overlay are all perfect, with NO scratches, tears, cracking, etc.

- Cabinet and black vinyl are in like-new condition. No scratches, no dings, no paint touch-ups

- Original Electrohome G07 monitor has only been capped once in its life (recently) and looks brand new: absolutely NO burn and the boards are clean as can be

- Original coin door is essentially perfect: NO scratches, dinges, or paint wear

- New rear air filter installed (purchased from a member of Dragons Lair Project.com

- Comes with the original coin mechs, coin box, manuals, schematics, etc. It even has the original plastic baggie and laserdisc protection bolt still stapled to the inside of the back door

- New leg lifters, casters, cap kit, and marquee bulb from The Real Bob Roberts

Everything on the game works flawlessly. The NOS laserdisc player has fewer than 20 games on it, ensuring this game will last for decades to come. If you want a museum-quality Dragon's Lair from a very picky collector, this is your game. I am happy to email high-res pictures on request.

Please PM if you have any questions. I will pallet free for anyone on here.

Thanks
Ben

Dead set on selling through eBay, or willing to sell outside to a member and save the fees?

PM me if that's the case.

Thank you!

Is the sideart reproduction on this game? I have never seen it placed that high from the original factory. Are the cpo and marquee also reproduction art?

I assume the art is reproduction and was installed at the incorrect height by whoever did the restoration.

Nice game.
