Are you freakin' KIDDING ME? $270!! I just sold one here for $95 + shipping....

Man am I a dumbass...

I'm very shocked by this one. It appears to be the Japanese version board based on the copyright warning about playing it outside of Japan, but I'm not sure why this one would even pull in more than one listed on jammaboards.com. I'm just curious now for anyone that might know the deal with this game and why it seems to have so much value.

I played Dragon Breed in a local Pachinko parlor when I was stationed in Japan. It was in a cocktail cab; the instructions were in Japanese. It took a minute or two to figure out the game, but I enjoyed the hell out of it and dropped a lot of Yen in it. I picked up the board untested on the KLOV last year and haven't gotten around to testing it. I really want to play it, but $200+ is a lot of cash.

I guess I had better get busy and build my test rig.

What to do.... what to do......

The game in Japan goes for around $200.

In Japan the PCB is more important than that cabs (since in Japan living space is so small the PCB is VERY important since many people use supergun setups).

If you think that PCB cost a lot then better not order any PCBs from Japan where some of the most rarest PCBs can cost $1,000+.

Here's a Japanese PCB shop with their price in yen. If you think this is too much then you have no idea about PCB prices. These prices are actually very good.

About the auction: Yep that's the M72 version of Dragon Breed. That's the one that Japan used. The one in the US uses a two board version (M72 are three-layer boards).

I guess someone really want it. I sold one for $175 after taking a BO and it came with the manual and Japanese instructions. If you want the Japanese instructions LMK I have scans.
