Hello, I have a newbie question so bear with me please.
During game play, my flippers suddenly stopped working. I turned the power off and lifted the playfield to find that the lower right flipper coil was scorching hot, I could smell burning as well.
I left it off over night and when it was powered on the next day, I heard a new clicking type sound that hadn't previously been there. When I lifted the playfield and tracked down the source of the noise, it was a little snuffer board, the relay box was making the noise which could also be felt when you put your finger on it. It's labeled C11232.The noise is continuous and starts as soon as power is switched on.
So, does this snuffer board have anything to do with the flipper issue or should I look elsewhere?
I noticed that the EOS switch broke off near the contact tab, so it was likely stuck closed, unable to open. Also, is the snuffer board something that can be repaired or is it replacement only?
Thank you, any help greatly appreciated.
