F/S Arcade Monitor and Board

I would be interested in a 19" monitor for my MS pacman .Let me know about the shipping details because i live in fl. thanks.

Need to bump this thread.

I was interested months ago when Bruce initially posted this, but then I forgot about it.

I bought a couple of project games from Scooter Mike - one with a dead monitor and one with no monitor. After futzing with the dead monitor for a couple of weeks and gettting nothing, I remembered this post. So I got off my ass and went down to OC and bought a couple of the monitors.

VERRRRY nice. They're WG 7302's. The two that I bought have absolutely no screen burn (don't know if they're all that way) and the images are like new.

A great deal at $75 each.

The only catch is that the image is backwards (they were used in units with a mirror). So you'll need to find the horizontal yoke wires and cut and reverse them. Bob Roberts has a page describing how to do this.

But I had to give a bump to this thread with a strong recommendation. If you're looking for replacement monitors, don't spend $75 on a G07 or a 4600 with so much screen burn that you know what game it was previously installed in. Buy one of these monitors instead.

If you still have some, I would take at least 3 off your hands.

Might be interested in print club cartridges, stickers, ink too :)

It was nice meeting you John, enjoy the monitors

I will. I've already flipped the horizontal back to normal. If anyone else buys these, all you have to do is flip the red and blue pins on the yoke connector that connects to the chassis pcb. I just popped the pins out with a very small screwdriver and swapped them. Took all of about 5 minutes for both monitors.

Now I have to figure out how to mount them in Galaga cabinets. Unfortunately, the frame that's on them has the wholes improperly spaced for the cross rails that attach to the monitor to hold it into a Galaga cabinet. I think I can just drill a new set of holes the right distance apart, but we'll see.

cheers.

Sounds like you should swap brackets with your old monitor ;)

No, it's not quite that simple. The old monitor (a G07) has a solid frame that has holes drilled in all the right spots to connect with the cross rails. I think they're a standard distance apart in fact. If I'm not mistaken, if I took a standard WG4600 or WG4900, it would have the holes in the right place to mount to the G07 cross rails as well.

But the WG 7302 has mounting "ears" (or whatever you want to call them) that aren't welded to the rest of the frame, but rather bolted on.

So I could remove the tube from the 7302 frame and mount it to the G07 frame, though the chassis wouldn't just screw into place nicely like the G07. I'm thinking it will probably be simpler just to drill two holes, correctly spaced, in the 7302 mounting ears. Then I can attach it to the Galaga cross-bars and just drop it in place.

It was nice meeting you today stuffmonger, enjoy those monitors. Stuff pointed out something about the monitors, the viewing area is 19inches, the overall size of the monitor is around 20.5inches

They ended up fitting just fine in the joust and defender brackets though. Same size after all. All that worrying for nothing >_< Thanks again for the monitors. I'll try to get the arkanoid running in the near future to send you a pic (I made a jamma adapter for the arkanoid, so it's swappable with the stv mobo).

Bought 2 of these today. they are very clean no burn. at $75.00 can't beat that. Can't wait to get them hooked up to the 60 in 1.
Still has some left. 40 or so left

I'm in the coin operating business and have over a 100 monitors in stock.

Wells Gardner model 19K7302

Tube number is Samsung Type A48KRD82X02

Comes complete, I offer the best pricing since I want to get these out of my warehouse. I'm located in Anaheim, CA

I'd probably be interested in purchasing a couple. How are they currently packaged and stored? Let me know what other monitors or parts you might be looking to get rid of. I'm located in Northern California, hopefully shipping isn't too expensive.....

The monitors are stored on shelves in my warehouse. As of now I'm not shipping any of the monitors due to the price of packaging materials

I would like to get a couple Just to have them around. I just wonder should I buy 10 since I live so close? Maybe spare parts for the rest of the life of my old arcade games.

I can vouch for Bruce. I've bought several of the monitors and they're great.

BTT

For those that purchased monitors from me, don't forget to send me a feedback rating.

Thanks

Bruce - done!

For everyone else, I purchased a chassis from Bruce, and it was flawless. Great way to get my 19K7302 up and running.

These really are great chassis' because they have a built in ISO, so easier to work with on the empty cab builds and such.

One caveat: my chassis had a 'non standard' yoke pin header when it arrived. The pins were smaller in diameter than the standard 19K7xxx stuff. Not a big deal, I spliced the wires, but worth noting.

Pics would really help sell off your inventory, Bruce.
