Got it in group of games. Looks really nice, the marquee, bezel, and control panel are easily a 9 or 10. The screen shows little or no burn in. The cabinet is pretty good, some scrapes and scuffs mainly around the bottom. The inside is extremely clean.

The bad........
When powered up, the marquee comes on, and the coin door lights come on, and the monitor comes up with a white picture. I can turn the red green and blue pots and see all the appropriate colors, so the monitor should be perfect, just not getting a signal from the pcb board. The transformer board has all voltages within range. The 12 v, -12 v, 5 v, and -5 v all test perfectly.
If I wiggled the plug on the transformer board that goes to the pcb board, there are 4 l.e.d. Lights on the board that come on. I think the only problem is that connections needs repaired. Game is also missing the cash box door.
I prefer newer games, so I have decided to try to sell this game quickly, prior to fixing it. I can post pictures if anyones interested. I posted pics in another thread titles Taito Colony 7 price check. Email me if interested. Thanks, Jeremy

I might post a video of game and what it is doing to clarify, but looks like an easy fix.

its too far away for me but for anyone local thats on the fence about this game let me give you some advise. GRAB IT!!! its a great game. with a ton of replay value.

Game is still for sale...thought this would be a quick sale!!! I will probably get to it in a few weeks, and then after I fix it, I'll probably feel the need to ask more. I think it just needs the one connection repaired, just got other projects going on right now and no time to fix it yet. Any serious interested peoples can call me or email me to make arrangments. I am available to meet anytime, even if I'm working I can stop by the house. Thanks

forgot to mention, I have a Cruisn USA that needs a monitor chassis, and or a whole new monitor. I have the chassis, but the guy I got the game from said he had sent the chassis out for repair and they sent it back saying it was missing parts and they couldn't fix it, we both didn't see that it was missing anything.
I was going to use the money from this colony 7 sale to buy a whole new monitor and chassis, but I will trade it for a perfectly working 25 inch med resolution monitor, and you can have the monitor and apparently broke chassis as well. I would like the monitor to be new or almost new if possible. Thanks, maybe a good trade for someone with a nice monitor

could you please post a pic of the PCB set & harness ?
the video was a bit dark - i am interested in what the boardset looks like

i cant believe you still have this. it would be in my gameroom if you were in socal.

Dirtdog!!!
I might be trading it for a monitor for my Cruisn, but if not, why dont you check on a shipping quote, we might could work something out. You seem like you would really appreciate this game, so that would make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside if you got it.
let me know if so!!!

this silly game, like the other two I have for sale, is still available. Game is now working, playable, but randomly resets about every minute. Supposedly needs a new 2 dollar RAM, just dont know which one, its got 24!!!!! Looks like it would be beyond my soldering ability to swap the RAMS out.

Maybe I should make it into a chair, complete with a phone........
Hope somebody buys this, somethin bad gonna happen to it in the next month or so.... I hate having non working games here...... I sure am ranting alot today, the rain brings me down!!!!!

bump
also Incrediblegamez has a thread about he is willing to transport a game from South Carolina, where the Colony is, to areas on his way to Ohio, so anybody interested along that route, this might be a great cheap shipping option!!

thanks again, jeremy

Hi Grantman, I would not be able to deliver it to Virginia, if thats what you are asking. Sorry, you could check shippingnfrom Charleston, I can take it to a shipping terminal. Thanks

thanks guys for all the emails, but i dont want to put much more time into this game for 150 bucks. If nobody buys it in next couple weeks, im gonna disassemble it to use the cabinet for another project. any and all Colony 7 parts will be available if somebody really needs them. I probably will just hang the painted glass bezel and marquee on the wall cause they look cool!!! Hate to do that to it, but nobody seems to want it. It is all original and rare and in great condition, it even works!! its just not my kind of game, and i would rather use the cab for something im more interested in.

Everybody seems to think its cool, but no cool enough to buy...lol
Honestly, ive never sold a game on this forum anyway, why ruin the streak!

serious people let me know soon, thanks again guys
