I recapped and installed a new Flyback on my EZ20 I also installed new Transistors in TR402 and TR403 because I started with vertical collapse does anyone know what I should look at next I also reflowed the Service switch and checked to make sure it was functioning properly.

I have found that the touch when I turn this on the face of the screen gets hot to the touch.

if your screen is getting hot, you have something connected wrong!!

look over ALL your work and verify that you have the focus tower connected properly to the flyback.
you may have to pull the flyback to check the wires.

this may take a second set of eyes, you may have to send it in.
i will be happy to fix it for you.

Peace

Standard things to check.
Check all capacitors in the C400's.

If any are installed backwards or have too much solder that is bridging components will cause this.

A damaged vertical size pot or damaged wiring will also do this.
