ez-20 does the waaavvveeee

My link was a semi-sarcastic link to a search for "sanyo 20ez B+" in the monitor repair forum. :) I just see a few of these threads a week and think we all (especially myself) should use the search function more than the "new post" function. Maybe that's just me being anal retentive though.

No offense was intended, and I'm glad you got the info you needed.

Yeah, you're being retentive, but thats ok...We take all types here! J/K

In other news, I adjusted it to 108 and it holds to it pretty well but fluctuates between 104-111...Not sure how bad an indicator that is...

The 'wave' is gone but in its place is a slightly twitchy picture. Barely noticable and i'm sure after 2 beers it will be imperceivable but nonetheless, its there...

In reading other posts on this, it seems like a slight twitch or shake is pretty common?

No, mine is the whole screen...You have to be pretty 'still' to see it...If you move your eyes around quickly it will be hard to see and I doubt anyone (outside of this board of course) would notice it...

I think it has to do with changes in power as sometimes the monitor really shakes (almost constricts like its losing power for a split second and then its back). When it does this, the voltage dives to about 100 then creeps back up to ~108

I want to try and isolate the issue here and I guess I should start with power going TO the monitor...That comes from the IT at the bottom of the cab...I dont have the schematics for DK, anyone know how to test the power coming out of it? Thanks!

Might be the flyback arcing. Try looking at the flyback in the dark and see if it arcs at the same time the monitor twitches. Some times it's hard to see especially if a cage is around it.
