I have two generic cabinets that have ridiculously small marquees that are only 2.5" by 22" of visible glass. Right now they are ugly as sin as its just clear plexi and you can see inside the top of the cabinet and the back of the speaker. Does anyone have any ideas on something inexpensive to put in there? I know alot of companies that make marquees can reduce the size to fit but I'm afraid that it would just look strange to have a full-size marquee shrunken to that extreme. The current games are Galaga and a Dig Dug but would prefer to have a generic 'arcade classics' theme on both of them as I regularly change the boards.

2.5" high is just ridiculous. No text will look good stretched so wide while being only that tall. My opinion would just be to print up some 8-bit characters like Fygars and Pookas on your printer with some of those adhesive bumper sticker sheets like at walmart. Then just affix the cut out characters (they are stickers) to some standard adhesive black leather vinyl shelf paper from Lowe's onto a sheet of plexi. Throw a second sheet of plexi over the first for good measure so no kid can tear off the stickers.

Ooohh... get a LED light kit and do for that Knight Rider effect from Kitt the car
