FS Parts: EXTREMELY Rare LASERDISC Marquees DRAGON'S LAIR & SPACE ACE

Mylstar occasionally is generous about offering sales and promotions, so folks who are on a particular budget and not in a hurry can always keep an eye out for those times and take advantage of that. If you dont feel like waiting and watching you can always bite the bullet and buy retail and you will get your items right away which is a nice resource and way to go if its not a big concern.

I think dragons lair is awesome. They had one at 17th liquor in huntington beach back when it was new. I eventually mastered the game and never have gotten sick of it. I pretty much have the opposite opinion of the game and cant quite figure out why some folks despise it so much. I owned one a while back but not currently. Would be great to have one again :).

People can value things however they want I guess. It is curious where the OP got his valuation of a common marquee from though. The NOS unapplied overlay I can see why that went high although I don't think it was a legit sale, but a normal used plexi marquee is far from a tough find.

Mylstar's always been fair with me whenever i've needed parts he had. Is what it is, you need a rare part he has a rare part, some money will be involved :)

I 100% disagree on this one. Stephen (Mylstar) is #1. Great guy.

He totally is, I regret throwing him under the bus like that.
Coin-op collecting just isn't what it was in the 90s, that
kind of situation is never happening again. Prices go up.

agreed! The last run of springs he did for Paperboy was amazing quality and the services for shipping etc was top notch! A+ for Mylstar, I couldnt find those for many years!

i think the op made a few mistake when he posted the for sale.

#1 was not ready to sell or have picture ready.
#2 mentioned eBay prices [that's a dozy and assumed one sale/completed listing meant current value]
#3 took his ball and went home [you'll never ear the end of it.]

if you wanted the max return for your marquee you should of listed it on eBay in the 1st place and avoided the drama you caused here ;)

And why am I to be avoided?

I was thinking the same thing?

You sell rare parts, priced accordingly.

If you make a buck, you stay open for business = good for arcade collectors.

If you go broke, and close up shop = bad for arcade collectors.

You are not selling extra parts that you have on a shelf from collecting, you are selling hard to find parts that you have sourced and purchased to resell.

Years ago I loaned a collector a dl marquee because he wanted to reproduce it, then never heard from him again, doh. I still think hes a good guy though. I dont know what happened. Sort of wish I still had that one.
