knowing mrbill, he's already on his way down there.

mine now... :)

I was going to borrow kens to help me fix mine, but it would have been a pain in the ass to find his and get it out of the warehouse. So once I get my first one going, I will pass this one along.

This one was another home owned game. The guy got it from a friend. His friends mom bought it new. This one is pretty nice. I think my first one is just slightly better. I will post pics later.. The only bad thing was the boulder dash marquee is cracked.

The weird thing is that I got this one about 2 miles away from where I got the last one...

THat's a super rare cabinet, I believe... basically runs an Atari 600XL. Astro Chase is an awesome game. Enjoy that!!!! Wish I was closer so I could come by and check it out.

Congrats on the score!

I know is very rare and very cool.. If you have seen tims page on the max-a-flex system, I helped tim out with his when he needed a boulder dash cart. I stole the cart out of a badly water damaged one that an operator was going to crush..

A few months ago I picked one up (not working). So finding this one will help me fix it (docs are horrible on them.).

I have a pretty large collection of atari 8bit carts(150+), so it will be cool to see what I can plug in and get to work..

I could have bought that this weekend, its kinda a cheesy setup so I passed when she wouldn't come down to $200. She said $250 but I stood hard and passed. I actually owned one of those a few years ago that I bought in Walnut Creek for $50.

thanks! your loss is my gain!!

If she has posted it before, then I missed it. I would have been on it had I seen it. I had no problem giving them what they asked for it. It will help me fix mine and I know I can unload it for what I spent on it.

If? Dude she did and I was just saying. It's all good.
I was actually in Capitola on Friday buying a skateboard and I was emailing back and forth with her and said I would grab it for $200 since I was 10 min away. It had been on CL for a few days already even.
No worries, glad you like it.

here are pics of the game.

yes, it has a 600xl computer in there minus the keyboard. The start, select, and option keys are wired to the computer. Probably tuesday I will start to mess with them. The computer was not working correctly in the 1st one I got, so I dropped in an 800xl. Why they used a 600xl and wired in seperate audio and video wires is beyond me.. the 800xl has a 5 pin din out that has those outputs.

It still has a problem I think with the ntsc to rgb board. The 2nd cab will make testing that very easy..

Bill, keep me in mind once you repair the other one and are ready to sell. I'd really like to have one of these next to my pepper II and mouse trap.

will do. I will give tim first shot at it as he had to sell his a while ago. When I found the first one it seemed like he was interested in it.

when I do off it, I have probably 30 or 40 extra 8bit carts I could include..
