Hi all,

Has anyone else installed the Exidy Multigame (the Exidy licensed version) on a Showdown boardset?

I installed one on mine but it freezes on the Chiller splash screen right after the scream.

I even completely uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Same thing.

I'm going to re-install the Showdown roms (after I archive them for MAME; mine is version 4.0) just to make sure I didn't break anything, but was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.

I have never gotten my kit to completely work on my cheyenne board. The game works fine with original roms and Mike was kind enough to send me a new NVram as well as retest my kit. Seems the kit works and the board works but the kit won't work with the board. On mine the issue is that the gun shots will not register. Other than this all else works.

My board was also installed in my Cheyenne, in the beginning it worked great now I'm starting to get issues? first when I turn it on colors are off? Sometimes the screen freezes when I leave the game on too long and third I get no sounds from any of the games when I first turn it on? I have to keep turning the game on and off to get it working again then it's fine? I was told that this board was designed to work with the Crossbow board and not the others so not sure if that's true or not?

I believe it was designed with the crossbow board in mind as it was the hardware that was on hand. I think it may have been tested on one or two different boards but not all 440 boards.
