Just a couple of questions about this game for the masses.

First how much does a non working game typically sell for?

Second How hard are parts to track down?

I have a chance to get a non working game. The only thing is the seller doesn't really know what is wrong. From his description it plays blind, but who knows what will be awaiting me when I drive out there.

Non working prices on a sought after title can vary quite a bit, largely dependent on the cosmetic condition of the game. I've seen them go from $50 to $300+.

The boardsets on these tend to command pretty decent coin as well. I think a playing blind Crossbow is a great find--could be an easy fix, and you may get a decent deal. Parts are out there--easier to find than the cabs in my experience. Good luck should you choose to pick this one up.

Elektron Forge fixes the boards for around $125.

These are the type of replies I was hoping for. I guess I have to take a road trip now. I knew I was killing myself with OT hours at work for some reason.

Pretty sure I bought a non-working Cheyenne for around 2-300. And drove 300 miles to get it!

Nanoryan, you remember what I paid?

Whoops, checked my PM's, it was $175. Stellar deal IMHO.

Well if everything goes as planned I should be picking the game up Friday night. There are a few cosmetic issues like cigarette burns on the CP and the sideart has seen better days. On the positive side the game is 100% original and complete.

good score! Crossbow is kick-ass and so is most of the others in the 440 series. post up some pics after you get it.

LOL yeah you got a deal. :) What was wrong with the boardset? Did you have to have Elektron Forge fix it or was it something simple?
