Does anyone sell a kit to rebuild an Exidy Crossbow power supply?

are you planning to just recap the 5v section and replace the 2 caps on the filter pcb? or something more involved?

wondering since i have one i need to recap

i have a couple of these power supplies laying around and i am planning on making a kit for it but haven't got around to it yet since not alot of demand. if you can find anything let me know and i will crack one open and make one up.

after referring to the manual & a quick visual inspection what i think i have is

5V section:
C1 - 1000uf 16v radial
C3 - 10uf 25v radial
C4 - 10uf 25v radial
C5 - 16,000uf 15v axial
C6 - 16,000uf 15v axial
C7 - 220uf 16v radial

filter pcb
2 each 6800 35v axial

i won't be able to verify some of the smaller radials until i pull them tho since i can barely see them, one concern i have is finding axial caps with leads long enough to fit where the originals were with out doing a mod of some sort (which may not be avoidable)

I'm getting the "no power" issue with the sound board. So I thought maybe its with the power supply.

Just bumping this.. If you do plan to make a kit..LMK. :D

you know as a matter of fact i have been looking at this and running into a couple problems. (mainly how to make it easy for the hobbyist). BUT today i had someone email me some pictures of his crossbow power supply and its way different than my crossbow and cheyenne. it must be a newer revision because it is the condor p/s but instead of the two 16,000uf caps that are run in parallel it has a huge 64,000uf cap (i assume its a screw terminal but i haven't received pictures of the solder side of that customers pcb). main problem is those original caps are stacked and the p/s case is cramped so i may do a 32,000uf 16v cap (not as good but it may have to do). i haven't received a definite YES from my cap maker because they are out on spring festival but the last two weeks of conversations it may be possible. i have many other ways around this but they would take all people installing to have a fair amount of know how and personally gets alittle complicated for a newbie. i am open to easier ideas if this cap making becomes not possible.

yeah those C5 and C6 original caps had a 3 1/2 inch long case and 1 inch diameter and stacked. not easy to find caps with 3-4 inch long leads. i have found exactly 0.

i guess i forgot to update this thread that i do have most condor power supply kits since i had to have the caps made for them so if someone needs any and you don't see them on the site shoot me an email through the site or PM me here and i can add it.
