Up for sale is an Exidy Cheyenne.

-Powers up, Nice monitor: Wells K4901
-Control Panel Overlay is original and in nice shape. Only minor cracking on the left front curve. A really nice original.
-Monitor bezel is average. Nice artwork, has a scratch on the plexi
-Has the mirror inside
-Has the harder to find wooden rifle/gun and not the common black replacement that most games have. This was big for me when I bought it. Feels solid all around.
-Cabinet and Pica-Style black vinyl Sideart is average with some moving scrapes
-Bottom of cabinet has a few chunks taken out but can be fixed if desired
-Right side has a partial Sideart sticker with clear tape on it; Left side is missing the sticker. Reproduction Sideart is available online.
-T-molding is in decent shape

-Game does not play, but monitor works great. I suspect it has to do with the power supply; potentially the game board.
-Has a Crossbow PCB inside, but for all I know it could have been converted to a Cheyenne board. Maybe you'll get lucky and rebuilding the power supply will get it going ($30).
-The power supply has the original one and a switching power supply hooked up at the same time due to the different voltages.
-2 connectors could use attention but still look functional (1 has a burnt pin).
-Power cord should probably be replaced
-Good, original marquee lights up nice
-Has repro manual
-Nice Exidy coin door

Fix this up and have a nice, harder to find Cheyenne, or go the extra mile and get the Exidy 440 Multigame board to play your favorite Exidy classics in one cabinet (Crossbow, Cheyenne, Chiller, Combat, Catch-22, Crackshot, Clay Pigeon, Who Dunit, etc). Available from HighScoreSave.com.

Located in Broomall, PA 19008. On garage level so no stairs. Easy move. I can ship if the buyer sets up.

$1299

Thanks!

great deal here
You aren't kidding. I paid more for my non-working but complete Clay Pigeon.

A @toledoflyer Exidy 440 FPGA made short work of the broken boardset that would only be able to play CP anyway, but I'd definitely forego the HSS stuff. Besides, the HSS solution forces you to have a working boardset to begin with.

Also, several Exidy440's have the "Crossbow" stamp on the boards. The only way to find out the true nature of the board is to read the ROMs.

I've got both and both have merit. I prefer Toledoflyer's FPGA as it's much smaller, simpler and more reliable, but HSS's version works great and has got a better looking menu. There are a shit ton of ROMs to remove though if you go that route. But in some cases, it might be the only route you can go if you can't find the other thing.
