Anyone know where to get the Exidy custom video chips? I'm looking for 12h. They are bipolar proms. I see many places sell the chips, but where to get them programmed? I don't have a bipolar prom programmer.

If this is the security chip which I think it is. Good luck. Let me know how it works out for ya

I actually wasn't aware that the Exidy 440 boards had a security chip. Though, if there is it's not the one need. I need chip 12H which is part of the video sync circuit. If there is a security chip, it's probably the 6331 @ 3K. Haven't run into any problems interchanging it with other boards/games.

I should be able to help you out.
Which game is it for?

I don't think it's game specific as everything is based off Crossbow. So, I guess it would be for Crossbow. I need chip 12H labeled XBL-12H. Christmas is coming and I'm packing hobby things away to make room right now. As soon as the holidays are over and things settle down, mid January, I'll hit you up for a burned chip. If you don't already have the file, I believe I have the file from MAME. I can try to verify the code before I contact you. I can read the code from another chip using my burner, but it reads it as 8-bit data and every other 4 bits are 0's. Thank you.

That chip is an 82s129 prom (or comptible)

It has 256 memory locations, but only 4-bits each,
which is why the MAME files always has 0 on the top 4 bits.

I checked the 12H files for both Crossbow and Cheyenne,
and they are indeed the same, so it is likely common to all Exidy boards.

I can provide that chip if you need it.

Cheers,
Steph
