Pick this baby up from a fella I've been in contct w/ the last couple of days. Manage to talk him down in his asking price so that was a bonus. The catch is it's missing the monitor, but the tradeoff is the sideart is pretty decent... does have some cracking and peeling on the CP - I'll take what I can get!

I'll preface this by saying I'm honestly not a big Pac fan. While I respect the nostalgic aura that encompases the theme, I never really got into it. And games w/ similar gameplay (Mousetrap and Ladybug) got my attention more.

When I saw a Pac Land at Aladdin's Castle for the first time ... played the hell out of it! Something about this worked for me - gameplay wise. I should also give Great America props as well... for having one of these as well.

When I first started this hobby - this was one game I always wanted to get. Failing to realize how rare this machine is. BITD, these were sort of common in the arcades I went to in the Chicagoland area. In my tenure in this hobby, this is the second Pac Land I've ever come across - this being one!

Here is the pics.. sorry for the crappy cell phone quality!

I watched that damn cartoon this game is based off of religiously when I was a kid. Nice pickup! One of the strangest control schemes for a game of that age, I've ever experienced...all button-based. Years earlier you saw that control scheme on Space Invaders and Asteroids, but it went by the wayside for joystick/button layouts. I have the Turbografx-16 version, which isn't a bad port, but it's really cool you got an original machine. I can't say I played it to death, but I did see 'em around the Chicagoland area back in the day. Congrats!
