Exact width of a cockpit Pole Position? Need info fast!

I have a chance to pick up a cockpit Pole Position but I need to know the exact length and width to see if I can fit it down my hallway.

The guy selling it has no way to measure it and I don't want to drive for 3 hours only to find out its too big.

Any help?

Thanks!

It breaks apart if I recall.

Here are the dimensions, but that is assembled

You can see the split in this photo:

Pole Positions do not break apart. That place you see where it looks like it comes apart is just cosmetic.

I had to take mine apart to get it into my basement, but it is not SUPPOSED to come apart at all, and certainly doesn't break into 2 nice pieces.

Sorry, but it is NOT made to come apart. That split is very misleading!

There are two sheets of wood that prevent it from coming apart at the very visible split: one is the floor board that runs the length/depth of the cab; and, the other is a piece of wood at the top/ceiling. These pieces connect/hold both sides of "the split" together.

I know this first hand as Tbbk picked up (sniped rather :p) a Pole Position cockpit from the seller of my first two arcade machines ever (cabaret Ms. Pac and Cabaret Centipede). "If we can't get it into my basement you can have it Phil" very quickly turned into a mission of disassembly until we made it get into his basement! We practically had to take apart the whole damn thing.

But we got it in and it looks good in his basement. Plus I know that machine will stay there until Tbbk either croaks or moves. With all the problems he's had getting it running I am glad he got it LOL. I did my part though! Negative re-enforcement to keep him from mame'ing it! Now he has a working pole position cockpit.
