I know EXACTLY how you came across this. It is the same way that I found out about it. Searches for the Galaxian 3 theater will make this come up. I THOUGHT that I wanted a Galaxian theater until I saw the thread where the guy overseas bought one FOUR YEARS ago, and still has parts of it in four different places because he has no where to put it all. The damn thing is just plain enormous and has WAY too many pieces...

LOL! I am not foolish enough to get a Galaxian 3, I was just searching for Galaxian.

Very cool! I'm not quite ready for this level of decorating in the basementcade yet.. I still need carpet. but this just made my future plans list.

That is way cool! And for $43 shipped from Amazon, seems like a steal. Ordering one today to go near my juke. I'll let you know how soon the seizures set in. ;)

Haha. It comes with a one page manual written in broken english too. It's pretty cheaply made, but i've had mine since january, and it still works just fine.

I know. I'd LOVE to play one of these, but unless I win the lottery there's no POSSIBLE way I could own one. The back of the flyer has the overall dimensions - it's 8 foot high, 16 foot, 4 inches deep and 16 foot, 7 inches wide! I've got rooms in my house that aren't that big.

I just wish there were one that I could go and play somewhere!

Received this in the mail yesterday. It's awesome! I can't believe how cool it looks. The sound activation is for crap (needs a TON of volume to even do anything) but I love the ability to change the speeds of the star bursts. I'm amazed at how small it is too. I know I sound like a salesman, but this thing rocks. It will probably be broken tomorrow but for now it's a ton of fun and fills the room really well.

Nice! Does that one have an XLR input for audio like the Galaxian does? If so you could use that to make the sound activation work better.

No, there is a little round area called "Mic" but you have to pretty much scream straight into it to get it to come on for a brief second. I'm not too concerned as I like it on all the time. There is also a strobe setting that you can adjust for speed as well.

Got mine in the mail today... the $39.00 one linked above... (blue).

(A) The damn thing is TINY. For some reason I expected it to be about 10"-12" square... but nope, its about 4"-5" or so...

(B) The sound activation option is jacked on mine completely... The lazer is on all the time... period... even in the "sound mode"... who cares though...

(C) This is pretty damn bright for a $40 Chinese made jobber... even in a brightly lit room you can see the lasers.

(D) The thing uses a total of (get this) 5 watts... that's it!
