Ever work someplace that had an arcade game?

They allowed me to bring some games to work until we closed down the building. They were up there for over a year along with a ping pong table and a dart board.

Ms Pac
DK Jr
Centipede
Galaga
Tron

They didn't get tons of play, but there were a few daily players.

I worked at the Little Caesars playland place in Hoffman Estates, IL which was a former SHOWBIZ pizza. They had 100s of games. I worked there for about 2 weeks when I was 16. My favorite games there were Tron, Baby Pac-Man, and Time Pilot. I got to play the games for free after work. It rocked.

I currently have a Donkey Kong in my office now. :D

I've worked at a movie theater for 8 years. Back when we were independently owned, we had some decent games, Jambo Safari, Showtime NBA on NBC, Cruisin USA, amongst others, then we got bought out by a national chain whose name I won't mention, and they replaced everything with some crummy Raw Thrills racers and shooters, and some overpriced redemption games you can't win. We also have a DDR machine too, but it rarely gets played, and I think it might be broken.

I worked at Fuddruckers restaurant off Lindbergh and Watson in St. Louis for 6 years. They used to have a small arcade area near the restrooms with 3 or 4 arcade games and a claw machine. I really don't remember any of the games they had because those years were 1988 to 1994, very non-classic non memorable games for me during that era.
I worked there also back in 92/93. My sister(Holly), her boyfriend/husband/ex(Keith), and his brother(David) worked there also. I remember there being a Time Killers, and a claw machine we would tip over to get the product. I remember you more now about you working in the butcher shop of Fudds. But you were a lot bulkier then.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones, I managed an Arcade at the Treasure Coast Mall in Port St. Lucia, Fl after my first year of college in 1988!! Nothing like having keys to the place and a fake ID for late night beverage induced "get togethers" with the girls from the Eatery across the way..Damn, those were some good times!!

There is one game apiece in the two restaurants I work in. Granted I own both restaurants and both machines but that's neither here nor there....

I worked at Alladin's Castle the summer after I graduated. The area supervisor came around and removed all of the service credit buttons and cut the wires about 15" back into the machines. The policy was that we couldn't play the games and every token had to be accounted for. Needless to say I made a 15" wire with alligator clips and stripped a small amount off of the ends of the cut service credit wires...

I worked at many places that had vids/pins...

Round Table Pizza
Numero Uno Pizza
Graziano's Pizza
Rocky's Pizza
(starting to see a trend?)

My first job was at a cafeteria that was on a Ski Resort. They had a Revolution X, Primal Rage, 45 Juke, and a few others.

The place was pretty slow and boss free because it was just a satellite location (The real action was at the places at the bottom of the mountain).

One day, the Head bosses 10 year old twins stole his keys and went skiing. Then they stopped in and put 99 credits in all the machines.

Lots of fun!

Our business recently moved into a new, much larger building. I offered to bring in my Dig Dug for the break room. Now it's been here for a couple of weeks and gets constant "breaktime" play. We have a high score competition where the week's highest score wins the cash box.

Once my Mr Do and MC is fixed up I'll probably bring it in as well. The boss keeps asking me to bring in more.

I've never worked anywhere with arcade games... but I worked in a retail gaming store, and there were tons of console games.

Had they been open longer, I probably would have put an arcade in the back for breaks.

my father owned a small arcade shop in 1989,I remember myself being there as a little kid and playing Wonderboy(I love this game)
