Ever used one of these smart phone inclinometer apps to adjust your pinball machine?

just bought it. So is a pinball tilt typically 15 degrees?

Is a EM pin any different?

15 degrees is about double the typical modern pitch.

In my experience, 6.5 degrees is the average.

An EM pitch can be different, based on machine.
For those that prefer a faster EM game, 6 degrees seems to do the trick. At least for me.

Which game of your is 15 degrees?
How are you measuring incline?

You should take off your glass and measure directly on the playfield.

Good Luck!

Take pitch readings directly on the playfield, not on the glass.

Try to take measurements in more than one place.

Side to side should be exactly 0.

For most SS-DMD era games, incline should usually be about 6.5 degrees. Some need more, some less.

It can significantly affect how the machine plays.

EMs usually are at a lower pitch, but I have less experience there.

Thats actually what I meant...I have no idea where I got 15 degrees. Ok, so 6.5 on the actual playfield...I need to try this app on my machines when I get home. Thanks for the info!
