An operator friend of mine gave me a bottle of LA's Totally Awesome cleaner in a spray bottle. He used to buy it by the case at the dollar store to clean the nicotine off poker machines and others games he had in Wisconsin bars.

The good:
Man it's really is strong. Sprayed a yellowed Centipede and the yellow gunk just ran down the cab. It made it look almost new white. Tried it on some grungy pinball plastics with similar results.

The bad:
It's so strong I may not be able to have children again. Try it on a small corner first. May want to wear a mask or go outside and wear gloves.

I've never been to a dollar store so I don't know which one sells it.

I used it to clean layers of nicotine off my converted Sinistar cabinet when I first got it. I think arcadetechgw had recommended in my thread about the cabinet a few years ago
I'm pretty sure I bought it at Dollar General.

If you want something that works just as well but without giving you cancer, try Krud Kutter. Get it in the paint section of any Home Depot.

It's actually bio-safe, so you don't feel like it's burning your lungs out when you use it. But it melts nicotine better than anything else I've tried.

Works great on boards too.

I have a 64 oz jug 10 feet from me. The wife uses it for laundry and I use
it as a general cleaner. Works good and yes, it is strong smelling.

We call it "yellow stuff"

Active ingredient is TSP in that spray. Works great.
