My wife had mentioned that the games looked cramped. Someone else said that as well. did not think so until today, so I re-arranged the It feels bigger now and has more sensible flow.

It also accomplished the following:
1) Shows off the sideart much better
2) allows easier access to games
3) Distributes the heat better
4) makes for easier playing.
5) Eliminated glare from overhead lights.

Before: (see next post for "after")

Cat box...

You keep the cat box under the Black Knight? Doesn't the cat get freaked out when you're playing? I don't dare do anything odd with the cat box for fear the blasted feline will start peeing all over the house again...

WOW, what an awesome space. Looks great, and yeh, before I started my arcade build, I used to move my machines around alot.

That is a very nice Revenge from mars cabinet! It's got great art work, same thing for the Smash T.V. and Candy cab.

As for rearranging, yeah I used to do it a lot. Now I can barley get around in the garage with junk piling up that need to be moved!

I rearrang my games every now and then. It makes me feel somewhat better. There are only 5, so the possibilites are limited but it helps.

Over time, would the pinball start absorbing the cat box odor?

It's a second box. She rarely goes in the basement. We used to have 2 cats, but now that we have only 1 cat, the boxes stayed since they were used to them. She does not normally go down there when we are down there.

Thanks, and I think it makes it seem like you have a new gameroom once rearranged :)

Yeah, I think cabinet art (pinball and video) is underappreciated. I like it and like to show it off. Many people don't realize how intricate some of it is.

Yeah, makes it like a new room :)

Hey Nice, Neo 29..
from a fellow neo 29 owner :)

Thanks, but I cant take credit, it belongs to a friend. I am lucky to be storing it (and other games) for him.

Has not been an issue to this point. We keep it pretty clean and it is not used alot (there is another box upstairs).

Chris

You really should fix the leak on the Black Knight... then you wouldn't need the cat box to absorb it.

I've been thinking about doing this at least with some games. Most of them just got put wherever the next space was available in a given area, but lately I've moved some games together like Ms Pac and Galaga and my racing games. The change helps me appreciate the games a bit more.

I'm already thinking of rearranging my games and I just set it up like that a few months ago :)

Rearranged the basement today and fit three more full-sized and two more cabarets down there. I thought I was maxed out but NuckinFuts said something to me a few weeks ago that got me thinking about the layout and he was right... I was wasting tons of space.

We're up to 3 pins, 7 cabarets, and 24 full-sized games down there now. :)

Thanks Nuckin! :beerchug:
