I have this Popeye cab that I just cannot bring myself to part with because it's so aesthetically pleasing for me to look at. Damn these Nintendo cabs!!! Why do they all look so good!!? I hate the game so much gameplay wise and just cannot bring myself to get rid of it,but want it gone. I do think if a trade came along that was pretty good I would part with it but for some reason cash could not persuade me. Anyone else have this issue with a cab or cabs in their collection?

Not a big fan of the game, but try getting this one away from me...

threw down ten franklins...

Sure. Sometimes I actually like looking at my games more than playing them. When I decide on a game to restore and add to the collection, it has to look good first and foremost. If it's just a fun game but the cab is boring or looks like crap, I see no reason to pick it up or keep it around for very long. I eventually learn to love the game play on games that look cool but aren't thought of as fun to play. I find them to be underrated games in many cases. The big one in my collection that looks bad ass but has so-so gameplay is Satan's Hollow. The cabinet, red stick and black light cover are the attributes that keep it in my collection. If it was in a Williams cab with woodgrain sides and a Gorf Stick, it woulda been on the street long ago.

I kept a Space Invaders Pin for a long time after I got tired of playing it (which didn't take long). That pin just looks incredible when it is all lit up.

I'd love to find a Space Invaders pin...

How about Computer Space? The cabinet is just so cool, but many have said the game play sucks. I happen to like the game play but you have to be in the right frame of mind..."I'm playing the first coin op game created..." that is.

Gravitar.

My Gravitar game. I love the side art. I certainly don't keep it for the game play unfortunately. I'm terrible at it. But i love it in my collection.

I have one and it definitely qualifies for this topic. The cabinet is just so damn sexy! The game play sucks completely but I would never give mine up for all the tea in China.
