If the hairy box has no bad scent, there's nothing to bitch about. If the hairy box smells like dead fish, discard and rinse vigorously.

I had to post on this to see how others react. Not too long ago, I got a box in the mail containing a game part, and it looked like it had been wrapped up at the local Wookiee barber.. There was so much hair stuck under the packing tape that I was almost afraid to open it-

Anyone else ever get stuff in the mail from sellers who uh, appear, to have some pets?

Don't ever let something like this bother you unless the hair under the tape is pubic. If you get it with pubes present, you must have ordered something from Fritz.
