Yeah, if you're just dealing with dust/build up, it's nothing out of the ordinary. Wait until you find a cab with rodent excrement and/or nests. Those are fun to clean (or throw out).

looks like ciggy smoke residue.. ive noticed dusty cabs, but that globby krap is uaually also smoke residue.. either way a+ on getting that krap out of there..

now somebody find the carpet beetle tempest so the op can feel better :D

I don't think I have ever gotten a game that _clean_ inside. I see that is the second game you have bought, so I'll just chalk this up to being new.

Yeah that's not that bad you should clean an afterburner Upright out sometime. The last 2 I did had at least 5 buckets of jet black water each come out of them.

Okay you guys got me beat with the dead rats & Animals LOL but still I was amazed at how dirty this game was and surprised they get like that. This is actually my 4th Cab and all my games are spotless and remain that way even though they are in my garage.

I just traded my TMNT last week after having it 2 years in my garage and the inside was absolutely Mint like I just cleaned it.

While relating tales of dirty games, I remembered what happened to me a few years back: I was cleaning several really dirty games with the usual mouse crap, dust, bugs, etc and apparently I breathed in some of it.

Ended up in the hospital for 3 days with dangerously severe pneumonia- the kind that makes you lose 11 pounds over the weekend.

Shop safety- live it, learn it, love it......

You just reminded me of a similar incident that happened to me earlier this year. I was cleaning out another cabinet that had the same usual stuff. Especially the mouse shit part (I don't think I've had a cab that did not have mouse shit). I was having one of those days where everything I was doing was absent minded. The mouse crap wasn't heavy, so I just used paper towels to scoop it up (still...contamination). Wife comes out and asks if we can go out for lunch. Wind up man handling a burrito. Later that night I get a really bad stomach flu...that lasts for 4 days.

Guess what lame brain forgot to wash the mouse shit off their hands before eating lunch? Really, really dumb.
